Buying Pallets

What pallet grades do you offer?
We offer three main grades: Grade A (premium, like-new condition with minimal to no repairs, ideal for retail display and export), Grade B (standard quality with minor wear, professionally repaired, perfect for warehousing and distribution), and Grade C (economy grade with visible wear, structurally sound but cosmetically worn, great for one-way shipping and budget applications). Each grade is thoroughly inspected for structural integrity and safety.
How do you determine pallet grades?
Our trained inspectors evaluate pallets based on several criteria: overall structural integrity, number and quality of repairs, condition of deck boards and stringers, presence of loose nails or protruding fasteners, warping or twisting, staining or contamination, and overall appearance. Grade A has the fewest defects and repairs, while Grade C shows more wear but remains structurally sound.
Can I see samples before placing a large order?
Yes! We encourage customers to inspect sample pallets before committing to large orders. You can visit our yard to see pallets of each grade, or we can deliver sample pallets for your evaluation. This ensures you get exactly what you need for your application.
What is the typical lifespan of your pallets?
Lifespan varies by grade and application. Grade A pallets can last 3-5 years or more with proper handling. Grade B pallets typically last 2-4 years. Grade C pallets are often used for one-way shipping or 1-2 year applications. Proper handling, storage, and maintenance can significantly extend pallet life.
Do you offer custom sizes?
Yes! We can source or manufacture pallets to your exact specifications. Custom sizes, special treatments (heat treatment, fumigation), unique deck board configurations, and specific load capacities can all be accommodated. Lead times for custom orders typically range from 1-3 weeks depending on specifications and quantity. Contact us with your requirements for a detailed quote.
Are your pallets ISPM-15 certified?
Heat-treated pallets meeting ISPM-15 requirements for international shipping are available upon request, primarily in Grade A. These pallets are properly stamped with the required IPPC certification mark. We can provide all necessary documentation for customs clearance. Lead time for ISPM-15 certified pallets is typically 3-5 business days.
What sizes do you stock regularly?
We consistently stock the most common sizes: 48x40 (GMA standard), 48x48, 40x48, 42x42, and 48x45. Other sizes may be available based on current inventory. If you need a size we do not have in stock, we can typically source it within 3-5 business days.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
Yes! Volume pricing is available for orders of 50+ pallets, with additional discounts for orders of 200+ and 500+. We also offer special pricing for recurring orders and long-term contracts. Contact our sales team to discuss volume pricing for your specific needs.
Can I reserve pallets for future pickup?
Yes, we can reserve pallets for up to 30 days with a deposit. This is helpful for businesses planning seasonal needs or upcoming projects. Storage fees may apply for reservations exceeding 30 days.
What if I am not satisfied with my order?
Customer satisfaction is our priority. If pallets do not meet the agreed-upon grade or specifications, we will work with you to resolve the issue. This may include replacement, credit, or refund depending on the situation. Please inspect your order upon delivery and notify us within 48 hours of any concerns.

Selling Pallets

What condition pallets do you buy?
We buy pallets in all reusable conditions, from premium Grade A to well-worn Grade C. Even damaged pallets may have recycling value. We evaluate each pallet based on its condition, size, and current market demand. As long as the pallet has structural value or can be recycled, we are interested in purchasing it.
How do you determine the price you will pay?
Pricing is based on several factors: pallet condition (grade), size and type, current market rates, quantity being sold, and demand for that specific size. We offer competitive prices and provide transparent quotes. Our pricing is updated regularly to reflect current market conditions. Generally, Grade A pallets command the highest prices, followed by Grade B and Grade C.
Do you offer pickup service?
Yes! Free pickup is available for larger quantities (typically 100+ pallets) within the Las Vegas valley. For smaller quantities or locations outside our standard service area, we may charge a nominal pickup fee. We can also schedule regular pickups for businesses that generate surplus pallets consistently.
What is the minimum quantity you will purchase?
While we prefer larger quantities (50+ pallets), we will consider smaller lots depending on the pallet type and condition. For very small quantities (under 20 pallets), we recommend you drop them off at our facility to avoid pickup fees.
How quickly will I get paid?
Payment is typically made at the time of pickup for most transactions. We can pay by check, cash, or bank transfer depending on the amount and your preference. For large or recurring accounts, we can establish net payment terms if desired.
Do I need to sort or clean pallets before selling?
No sorting is required, but it can help speed up the process and potentially improve pricing. If possible, separate pallets by size and condition. Remove any debris, products, or excessive dirt. However, we will sort and evaluate pallets as part of our standard process.
Can you provide recycling documentation for our records?
Yes, we can provide documentation showing the quantity and type of pallets recycled. This is helpful for companies with sustainability reporting requirements or environmental certification programs (LEED, ISO 14001, etc.). We can provide quarterly or annual summaries.
What happens to pallets that are too damaged to resell?
Pallets beyond repair are not wasted. They enter our recycling stream where wood is processed into mulch, animal bedding, biomass fuel, or engineered wood products. We achieve a 95%+ recycling rate, ensuring minimal waste goes to landfills.

Pallet Repair & Refurbishment

What types of repairs do you perform?
We perform comprehensive pallet repairs including: deck board replacement (top and bottom), stringer repairs and reinforcement, block replacement and repair, fastener replacement (nails, screws, clips), structural reinforcement for heavy-duty applications, and heat treatment when required. Most pallets can be restored to like-new functional condition.
Is repair more cost-effective than buying new pallets?
In most cases, yes. Repair typically costs 30-50% less than buying new pallets, and extends the useful life by 2-3 years or more. For businesses with large pallet fleets, implementing a repair program can result in significant cost savings annually. We can provide a cost analysis comparing repair versus replacement for your specific situation.
How long does the repair process take?
Turnaround time depends on the quantity and extent of repairs needed. Small batches (under 100 pallets) can typically be completed in 3-5 business days. Larger quantities may take 1-2 weeks. Rush service is available for urgent needs at an additional fee.
Do you offer on-site repair services?
Yes, for customers with large volumes (typically 500+ pallets), we can arrange on-site repair services. Our mobile repair team will come to your facility with equipment and materials to repair pallets on location. This minimizes transportation costs and allows you to maintain continuous operations. Contact us to discuss your specific needs and receive a quote.
What is your quality standard for repaired pallets?
All repaired pallets must meet our strict quality standards before being returned to service. This includes: all deck boards and stringers must be structurally sound, no protruding nails or fasteners, square and true (not warped or twisted), proper load capacity for intended use, and meeting specified grade requirements. Each repaired pallet is inspected before delivery.
Can you repair specialty or custom pallets?
Yes! We can repair most pallet types including specialty sizes, block pallets, stringer pallets, and custom configurations. If your pallets have unique specifications, please provide details so we can ensure we have the correct materials and expertise.
Do you use new or recycled materials for repairs?
We use both depending on the repair and customer requirements. For premium Grade A repairs, we typically use new materials to maintain the highest quality. For Grade B repairs, we may use a combination of new and recycled materials. All materials meet our quality standards regardless of source.

Recycling & Sustainability

What happens to recycled pallets?
Recycled wood is processed into valuable products: mulch for landscaping, biomass fuel for energy production, animal bedding for farms and stables, raw material for engineered wood products (particle board, MDF), and boiler fuel for industrial applications. Nothing goes to waste - we achieve over 95% material utilization.
Do you provide recycling certificates?
Yes, we can provide detailed documentation of recycled materials for companies with sustainability reporting requirements. Our certificates include quantities, dates, material types, and diversion from landfill calculations. This helps support your ISO 14001, LEED certification, or corporate sustainability initiatives.
Can I get credit for recycling?
Yes! We offer recycling credits that can be applied to future pallet purchases. The credit amount depends on the quantity and condition of pallets being recycled. This program incentivizes sustainable practices while reducing your overall pallet costs.
Do you recycle pallets made from treated wood?
We carefully evaluate treated wood pallets. Heat-treated pallets (ISPM-15) are no problem and fully recyclable. Chemically treated pallets require special handling - we work with certified facilities to ensure proper disposal or recycling according to environmental regulations.
How does pallet recycling benefit the environment?
Pallet recycling reduces landfill waste, conserves forest resources by extending wood fiber life, reduces carbon emissions compared to producing new pallets, creates useful products from waste materials, and supports circular economy principles. Recycling one ton of pallets saves approximately 1.3 cubic yards of landfill space.
Can you help us develop a pallet management program?
Absolutely! We work with businesses to develop comprehensive pallet management programs including: usage audits to identify inefficiencies, repair and recycling protocols, inventory management systems, cost reduction strategies, and sustainability reporting. Our goal is to help you optimize pallet costs while minimizing environmental impact.

Delivery & Logistics

What areas do you serve?
We serve the entire Las Vegas valley including Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Boulder City, and surrounding communities within a 50-mile radius. Extended delivery is available for larger orders to locations throughout Southern Nevada, parts of California (Barstow, Needles, Primm), and Arizona (Kingman, Bullhead City, Laughlin).
What is the delivery lead time?
Standard delivery is 1-2 business days for in-stock items. Same-day delivery may be available for urgent orders placed before noon, depending on availability and delivery location. Custom orders or special treatments (ISPM-15) typically require 3-5 business days. We can accommodate rush orders when possible.
Is there a delivery fee?
Delivery fees vary based on location, order size, and delivery requirements. Free delivery is available for orders over 100 pallets within the Las Vegas valley. Smaller orders or deliveries outside our standard service area may incur a delivery charge. We will always quote delivery fees upfront - no surprises.
What type of delivery trucks do you use?
We operate a fleet of delivery vehicles ranging from pickup trucks for small orders to flatbed trucks and semi-trailers for large deliveries. Pallets can be delivered banded on our trucks or loose-loaded depending on your preference. We can also arrange for dedicated truck delivery for very large orders.
Do you offer scheduled pickup services?
Yes, we can arrange regular pickup schedules for businesses that generate surplus pallets consistently. Options include weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly pickups. Scheduled pickups ensure your facility does not become congested with empty pallets and provides consistent recycling income or credits.
Can you deliver outside normal business hours?
Yes, early morning or after-hours deliveries can be arranged for an additional fee. This is helpful for businesses that cannot receive deliveries during normal operating hours or need deliveries before shifts start. Please request this when placing your order so we can coordinate accordingly.
What are your unloading requirements?
For best service, please have a forklift available to unload pallets. If you do not have material handling equipment, we can arrange for hand unloading (smaller orders only) or delivery with a truck-mounted forklift for an additional fee. Please let us know your unloading capabilities when ordering.
Do you provide tracking for deliveries?
Yes, for all deliveries we provide confirmation of delivery including date, time, and recipient signature. For large or complex deliveries, we can provide real-time tracking updates. We will call ahead before delivery to ensure someone is available to receive pallets.

Products & Specifications

What is the most common pallet size?
The 48" x 40" GMA (Grocery Manufacturers Association) pallet is the most common size in North America. It is the standard for retail, grocery, and consumer goods industries. This size optimally fits standard truck trailers and warehouse racking systems. We always have large quantities of this size in stock.
What is the difference between 2-way and 4-way entry pallets?
2-way entry pallets can only be lifted from two opposite sides (typically the 40" sides), while 4-way entry pallets can be lifted from all four sides. 4-way pallets are more versatile and efficient in warehouse operations. Stringer pallets are typically 2-way or partial 4-way, while block pallets offer true 4-way entry.
What weight capacity do your pallets support?
Weight capacity varies by pallet construction and size. Standard GMA 48x40 pallets typically support 2,500-4,600 lbs depending on configuration and grade. Heavy-duty pallets can support up to 5,000 lbs or more. Static load capacity (stationary storage) is typically higher than dynamic load capacity (moving on forklifts). We can recommend the right pallet for your specific load requirements.
Do you sell plastic or metal pallets?
We specialize in wood pallets but can source plastic and metal pallets upon request for customers with specific requirements. Wood pallets offer the best value for most applications, but plastic pallets excel in clean-room environments or food processing, while metal pallets are ideal for extreme heat or heavy industrial use.
What type of wood are your pallets made from?
Most pallets are made from mixed hardwoods (oak, maple, ash) or softwoods (pine, spruce, fir) depending on availability and application. Hardwood pallets are more durable and support heavier loads, while softwood pallets are lighter and more economical. We can specify wood type if you have particular requirements.
Can pallets be used for outdoor storage?
Yes, but exposure to weather will reduce pallet life. For outdoor storage, we recommend treating pallets with weather-resistant coatings or using plastic pallets. Keep pallets off the ground and covered when possible to minimize moisture damage. Grade A or B pallets are better choices for outdoor use than Grade C.
Are your pallets safe for food products?
Yes, we offer food-grade pallets that have never been exposed to chemicals, toxins, or contaminants. These pallets meet FDA and USDA requirements for food handling. For sensitive applications, we recommend Grade A pallets with heat treatment. We can provide certification documentation upon request.

Pricing & Payment

How is pallet pricing determined?
Pallet pricing is influenced by several factors: market demand and lumber prices, pallet grade and condition, size and specifications, order quantity (volume discounts apply), custom requirements or treatments, delivery distance and logistics, and seasonal market fluctuations. We provide transparent pricing and will always quote before processing your order.
Do your prices include delivery?
Prices quoted are typically for pickup at our yard. Delivery charges are calculated separately based on location and order size. For large orders (100+ pallets), delivery within the Las Vegas valley is often included. We will always provide a complete price including delivery before confirming your order.
Can I get a quote without placing an order?
Absolutely! We provide free quotes with no obligation. You can request a quote by phone, email, or through our website contact form. For the most accurate quote, please provide: desired quantity, pallet size and grade, delivery location, and any special requirements. We typically respond to quote requests within 2-4 hours during business hours.
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
For large orders or established business accounts, we can discuss extended payment terms (Net 30, Net 60, etc.) subject to credit approval. We also work with several equipment financing companies that can provide financing for very large pallet purchases. Contact our sales team to discuss payment options.
Are there additional fees I should know about?
We believe in transparent pricing. Possible additional fees include: delivery charges for locations outside the standard service area, rush order fees for same-day or expedited service, after-hours delivery fees, specialized treatments (heat treatment, custom sizing), and handling fees for very small orders. All fees are disclosed upfront in your quote.
How long are your quotes valid?
Standard quotes are valid for 7 days from issue date. Pallet prices can fluctuate with lumber markets, so we may need to requote for delayed orders. For very large orders or long-term contracts, we can discuss price locks or forward pricing arrangements to provide budget certainty.

Do you offer pallet rental or exchange programs?
Yes! We offer pallet rental programs for temporary needs such as seasonal peaks, special events, or short-term projects. We also facilitate pallet exchange programs for businesses that ship to multiple locations. Contact us to discuss how a rental or exchange program could benefit your operations.
Can you help with pallet design for custom applications?
Absolutely! Our experienced team can help design custom pallet solutions for unique requirements. We consider your product dimensions, weight, handling methods, storage systems, and transportation needs to engineer the optimal pallet design. We can provide CAD drawings and prototypes before full production.

Yes, we provide comprehensive pallet management services including: inventory tracking and management, automated reordering based on usage, quality control and inspection, recycling and disposal coordination, cost optimization analysis, and detailed reporting. These services are ideal for companies looking to outsource pallet management.
Can you supply pallets for events or temporary needs?
Yes! We supply pallets for events, festivals, construction projects, and temporary applications. Whether you need pallets for seating, staging, displays, or storage, we can provide the quantity and grade that fits your budget. Buyback options are available for temporary needs.
Do you offer emergency or rush services?
Yes, we understand that businesses sometimes have urgent needs. We offer same-day delivery for emergency orders placed before noon (subject to availability and location). Rush repair services are also available. Emergency services may include a premium fee, but we will always work to accommodate your timeline.
