What types of pallets can be recycled?
We recycle all types of wood pallets including standard GMA pallets, block pallets, custom sizes, broken pallets, crates, skids, and wood dunnage. We accept pallets too damaged for repair, mixed wood waste, and even some contaminated pallets (depending on contamination type). Basically, if it is wood shipping material, we can likely recycle it.
Do you pay for recyclable pallets?
Yes! We offer recycling credits of $1-4 per pallet depending on condition, quantity, and current market demand. While not as much as reusable pallets, you still earn money instead of paying disposal fees. Plus, you help the environment and meet sustainability goals.
Is there a minimum quantity for free pickup?
Free pickup is available for 50+ pallets within the Las Vegas metropolitan area. For 25-49 pallets, we offer bi-weekly scheduled pickups. For smaller quantities, you can drop off at our facility or we can pick up for a small fee. We are flexible to meet your needs.
What happens to the recycled pallets?
Our zero-waste process ensures every component is reused. Quality wood becomes remanufactured pallets or repair lumber (60%). Damaged wood is chipped for mulch or animal bedding (25%). Some becomes biomass fuel for energy (10%). Metal fasteners are recycled (5%). Nothing goes to landfills.
Do you provide recycling certificates?
Yes! We provide detailed certificates documenting the quantity and weight of materials recycled. These certificates are perfect for sustainability reporting, ESG compliance, corporate responsibility reports, and environmental audits. Documentation includes pickup dates, quantities, and environmental impact calculations.
Can you recycle contaminated pallets?
It depends on the contamination type. Minor oil, dirt, or paint is usually acceptable. However, we cannot recycle pallets contaminated with hazardous materials, chemicals, or biological waste. Contact us with details about the contamination, and we will let you know if we can process them.
